AI VTuber Neuro-sama launches lava lamp that syncs to her stream in real time

In addition to her banter with Vedal, who appears on stream as an adorable turtle that sits on her head, Neuro-sama is known for the lava lamp in the corner of the screen and changes colours in a curious sequence. Is it completely random? Is it triggered by the conversation or the content of the stream, or the chat? It’s a bit of a mystery, but that only adds to the charm and odd comfort of the lava lamp.
With the help of Juniper Creates, Vedal is now bringing that lava lamp to Neuro-sama’s viewers around the world. The lamp shares the same design as the one that appears in Neuro-sama’s stream, and the colour also syncs to the stream in real time. This allows viewers to feel more connected to the stream and the community of viewers.
The lamp was announced as a crowdfunded project during Neuro-sama’s birthday stream. Vedal and Neuro-sama need to sell 4,000 lava lamps in order to fully fund the project and deliver it to customers.
The lava lamp is being released alongside an oversized tee with an illustration of Neuro-sama with Vedal on her head, a “split” hoodie that pays homage to Neuro-sama’s evil version. All products are available until February 10 on the Neuro-Sama store.
