Gorilla Tag drops back to school collection with matching VR items

GamingGorilla Tag, the popular VR game developed by Another Axiom, has released a Back to School collection that pairs physical products with exclusive in-game cosmetics. The collection includes a hoodie, backpack, and plush toy, each granting players a corresponding accessory for their Monke avatar.

Since its release in 2021, Gorilla Tag has become a standout success in VR gaming. The game boasts over 1 million daily active users, making it one of the most popular titles on the Meta Quest Store. Players act as a “Monke,” moving by swinging their arms, and can customize their gorilla-like avatar with collectible cosmetic items.

The Monke plush mirrors the in-game model, complete with miniature accessories like a pencil, backpack, and glasses. In a meta touch, the plush also unlocks a smaller Monke that sits on your avatar in-game.

Another Axiom partnered with Canadian merchandise company Juniper Creates to produce the collection, building on previous collaborations that bridged digital and real world experiences for the game’s community.

The Back to School collection is available on the official Gorilla Tag store until September 30.
