LankyBox collaborates with Poppy Playtime on mashup plush toys

LifestyleLankyBox has teamed up with horror puzzle video game franchise Poppy Playtime to release a limited edition collection of plush toys that mash up iconic characters from both universes. The line includes Foxy as Huggy Wuggy, Boxy as Kissy Missy, and additional hybrid characters. The designs are cute but also unsettling, in a way that reflects the eerie atmosphere of Poppy Playtime.

Justin Kroma and Adam McArthur, the creators behind LankyBox, are longtime fans of Poppy Playtime. The collaboration is a personal milestone for the duo and their global fanbase. With Chapter 3 of Poppy Playtime set to release in early 2024, the crossover generate visibility across LankyBox’s worldwide audience of children and young teens.

The products were created in partnership with Canadian merchandise company Juniper Creates, who has produced LankyBox merchandise since Foxy and Boxy debuted in 2020. “Our team has long admired the rich worldbuilding of Poppy Playtime,” said Juniper’s CEO Joel Wegner. “This collaboration gave us a satisfying chance to dive into that world.”

The limited-edition LankyBox x Poppy Playtime collection is available now through the official LankyBox shop.
