Studio Investigrave, a Toronto-based indie team, has built an impressive reputation in the horror game scene over the past year. RachelDrawsThis, Ekrixart, and BellKalengar debuted their first release as the studio in 2023. Dead Plate is a compact but intense horror game that earned a dedicated following thanks to its eerie atmosphere and clever storytelling.

Now the team is celebrating the game’s first anniversary with a collection that includes a cheeky apron and tee, and an art book that details the process and art behind the game. They hope that the products will reward fans who have supported the game, and also kickstart their future as a full-time studio.

“Currently all of us running the studio have other responsibilities that take priority over game development,” the team said said. “But with your support, not only will the quality of our games significantly increase for future projects, such as more detailed in-game cg/animations, new and fresh game mechanics, original soundtrack, voice acting and more, but we will be able to do what we love as a full-time career.”

Studio Investigrave has already begun work on its next game, which is expected to be larger and more ambitious. The team has promised a sneak peek if the collection reaches 5,000 total products sold.

The apron, tee, and art book are available until January 4 on the Studio Investigrave store.
