Almost seven summers later, that central concept has only cemented the game’s staying power. As over 700 pets have been introduced, with over 80% of them being “extinct,” the demand for rare, ultra rare, and “legendary” pets drives an economy around trading and building a collection worth showing off.
The Strawberry Shortcake Bat Dragon is one of the most sought after legendary pets. Only directly available for a short time in 2022, the pet has become coveted for its preppy aesthetic and association with the original Bat Dragon from 2019, the most valuable of all pets. Adopt Me!’s developer, Uplift Games, frequently features the pet in official artwork, making it a familiar presence across the community.
Because the Strawberry Shortcake Bat Dragon is both popular and extremely rare, Uplift Games is introducing a new physical collection that offers fans more ways to engage with a pet that most will never realistically own. The collection features apparel, a backpack, and a strawberry-scented plush toy. It was produced in collaboration with Juniper Creates, which Uplift Games has worked with since 2025. “Together, we looked at dreamy summer picnics and vintage jam jars for inspiration,” said Michelle Sutton, Brand Strategist at Juniper. “We wanted to play on the strawberry theme and capture the nostalgia that the community has for this pet.”
Players who purchase the collection within Roblox also receive versions of the products that their avatar can wear. For players who missed Strawberry Shortcake Bat Dragon’s original event or spent years trading to get one, this collection offers new ways to connect with one of Adopt Me!’s most recognizable pets.
The Strawberry Shortcake Bat Dragon collection is available until March 8 on the Adopt Me! store and within the game in Roblox.
